A bit About me

I possess excellent communication skills from dealing with customers that translates into confidence with colleagues and management. Highly organised, I am able to plan and prioritise my workloads to ensure targets and deadlines are met. I have worked as part of a team and independently with multiple projects. Adaptable and able to use initiative and follow procedures. I can overcome problems logically and navigate ideas outside the box. Overall, I am extremely passionate about all things Games Design.
My Skill Set
UNREAL
Utilising both Unreal engine 4 & 5 I am forever growing to advance my knowledge. Using blueprints or creating my own unique project I can comfortably adapt my ideas and realise them within Unreal. Furthering my understanding of more 3D softwares has allowed me to have complete control of realising my potential with Unreal.
UNITy
I have adapted my Python knowledge learnt from an early age to enhance my skills with C#. I have a strong understanding of how to use the tools within this software to produce, manage and code several 2D games and 3D games. I'm keen to expand my knowledge of this engine; exploring all avenues.
3D Software
Being able to translate my vision via 3D assets is key. I am proficient in Autodesk Maya, Blender and Zbrush. From creating the materials to creating a mesh from scratch I look to encompass all aspects of 3D assets creation. I look to polish my abilities to make more dynamic animations.
PhotoShop
My knowledge of Photoshop comes from 6 years of experience with the several updated versions of the Adobe tool. I feel more than equipped to transfer anything from my minds eye into a mockup and then transform into a polished final iteration with ease. I also am always developing my knowledge of all of the adobe creative suite.
TRELLO
As a creative thinker, having space to pin all ideas and tasks into one program helps me enormously. This tool also has been invaluable as a team leader in group projects and has allowed me to demonstrate my strengths and ideas effortlessly. I also found this tool equally important when being a team member allowing me to showcase my input effectively.
UAL LCC Games design interview
In this interview I was selected to discuss my final project, showcased at our graduation show, I was selected to represent my entire year to speak about own project and how my degree benefited me. This is now being used as a promotional video on the UAL channel.
Iron star
My most current project
A Final iteration of my prototype, now finished, allows me to play test this with critical feedback to help shape the final product.
With the aid of my Trello mood board I was able to create an accurate storyboard that envisioned exactly how I would like the game to play out through all key scenes.
Using my Photoshop skills I was able to generate highly detailed snap shots of key moments in my gameplay to help shape development.
I am constantly tweaking aspects to balance both form and function in my work. This is important that I always follow the fun to expand my horizons but remain within the scope of game design.
During my development process I was able to refer back to my original mock ups and story board to ensure I was keeping in line with my vision.
PROJECT SHOWCASE

A past project that allowed me to experiment with abstract ideas I intend on recycling in future projects.
2021
Commet Catapult
A early project that was developed in unity for my Game design degree in my first year. This was my first independent concept project that was made into a small demo.
I wanted to showcase my current and past projects that have been iterated and are currently being developed as I work in an agile manner. I have learnt from every project I have started and intend to keep my work diverse to ensure I am always expanding my knowledge of all genres and styles of games.
